How we handle your personal data
Natuurhuisje Vechtdal (hereinafter: “we”) respects the privacy of visitors and guests of this website. Personal data is processed and secured carefully, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This translation is for information only; in case of discrepancies, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Who is responsible?
Natuurhuisje Vechtdal is rented out on a personal basis by the owner in Vilsteren. For questions about your personal data, you can contact us at info@natuurhuisjevechtdal.nl.
2. What data do we collect?
- When booking: name, address, email address, phone number, number of people, desired stay dates and any remarks.
- When contacting us: name, email address and the content of your message.
- When visiting the website: technical data such as IP address and browser data, only for security and the correct functioning of the website.
3. What do we use your data for?
- Processing your booking and all related communication (confirmation, payment instructions, key information, etc.).
- Answering your questions.
- Complying with legal obligations, such as paying tourist tax to the municipality of Ommen and maintaining tax records.
4. How long do we keep your data?
We keep booking data for seven years due to the statutory tax retention obligation. Contact messages are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact.
5. Who do we share your data with?
- With the municipality of Ommen, only anonymised numbers for tourist tax.
- With our hosting provider, for the technical storage of website data.
- We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict processing or to object to processing. You also have the right to data portability.
Send an email to info@natuurhuisjevechtdal.nl to exercise your right. You’ll receive a response within one month.
Do you disagree with our processing? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Data traffic via this website is encrypted with HTTPS.
